Friday New Releases

Boy, I really want to get into the habit of blogging on Fridays again.  But with summer break starting today at 4pm, I’m just not sure how realistic that is, lol!  The kids are busy with camps and classes this summer, but hopefully we’ll have some good ‘ol fashioned down time.

I have a couple things to show you.  First I want to show you Happy Camper.  A super-fun new collab that Snips and Snails, Digilicious Designs and Aimee Harrison Design Studios released today.

I sinmply adore the plaid papers in this kit…nothing says camping like a plaid flannel shirt, right!!!

This second LO was created using a fun template from Little Bit Shoppe Designs

I also worked with a template from keepscrappin designs…called Photo Mania because it has so many spaces for photos!!

I created a LO of our fabulous backyard. My DH did such a wonderful job envisioning a relaxing haven for us when he designed our backyard. And now as the trees and bushes are all growing up it is truly a wonderful place for our family to hang out.

And last but not least, I want to invite you to Minitopia at Brownie Scraps!

This is such a fun month-long game.  When you buy your ticket (the template pack you see above), you get an alias to use for the month. As you chat and create LOs for the challenges, other Minitopians are trying to figure out who you really are.  There are lots of prizes and lots of gallery love all month long!  I hope you join us!

All product images are linked so you can easily grab ‘em :)   So until next time…

So behind…

I’m so behind on my personal blogging.  I blog for so many other people now that I am worn out by the end of it all!  But here I am to show you some great stuff! First I’ll show you Letters from Tuscany.

This template is Sole Photo vol 1 from Moments Scrapped which you can find at Brownie Scraps.

Then I worked with Spring in the City from Snips and Snails.  This is a bright, springy kit that was released last year, before I began on Stephanne’s CT.

This one uses a template from the pack: Funky by Little Bit Shoppe Designs.

This one I did for the ADSR7 challenge: take a photo you don’t like (love the photo, just wish we weren’t so blurry) and turn it into a layout you love.  So far I’m having fun with the Amazing DigiScrap Race – season 7.

Ramona also had a beautiful kit release this week, it’s called Often Go Walking

This was for the second ADSR7 challenge to scrap about a life-changing event or person. I look back on my life before I started attending Bible Studies and can totally see how a weekly dose of in-depth study has certainly changed my life, so that is what I chose to scrap about.  I used Duo Photo vol 2 from Moments Scrapped for this page.

I think that’s all I have for now…so until next time…

Brownie Scraps is Open!!

The all-new template-only Brownie Scraps store is officially open!  I’ve been so fortunate to have been able to play with so many of the templates that are in the store for opening weekend! But honestly, I wish I could have played with them all!!!

Be sure to check out the wonderful templates that are in the shop at Brownie Scraps!  And this weekend only, buy 4 template sets and get 2 free!

Until next time…

Garden Patch

Good Friday morning!  I’d like to introduce Garden Patch from Snips and Snails Designs.

I am so in love with this kit…my only problem is that I am not a gardener, so I have no gardening pictures to use with it :(

Well, we did try our hand at pumpkins one year…

And I did a page of my nephews doing a little yard work…

I used cluster template from Memory Clips by Ramona to create this one!

You can find Garden Patch at the Snips and Snails Designs store at One Story Down.

Thessalonians and a new kit!

Some of you who know me, know that I am a stay-at-home-mom with two kids who are in school full time. So I often think that I should get a real job, you know, instead of just scrapbooking all day! I’ve applied for jobs, considered jobs, thought of what would be the perfect job, but I always come back to the fact that God has me right where I’m supposed to be.  But still the thought sometimes pops into my head, “Is this God’s will for my life?”

So last night I was reading in First Thessalonians, when I got to 5:16-18 I just about started crying, because it gave a very specific picture of God’s will for my life – and yours too!  It says, “Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

There is was, God’s will for me!  Whether I’m working outside my home- or not- whether we have the money to replace all the furniture and appliances I want to replace-or not- whether I scrapbook “for a living” – or not- God’s will for me is to be joyful, to pray and give thanks.  I’m so excited that I can finally let go of this nagging question of God’s will for me.  Because now I know!

And now on to the cutest new release from Stephanne of Snips and Snails Designs.  It’s called Blue Jean Spring and it is full of my favorite things, blue jeans and spring!!!

And of course it comes with accessories! You can get the whole bundle with the cardstocks, alpha and stacked papers!

Don’t you just love all the little pockets!?!  Here are the layouts I made with this kit.  I used a template from Memory Clips on this first one, isn’t it just so cute!!!

I loved the versatility of the kit, I thought it was just as cute for all the girl layouts I saw as it was for the boy layouts.

You can find it at the Snips and Snails store at One Story Down.

As you may know, the Brownie Scraps store is down right now as they get ready to re-open May 1st.  I cannot wait for you to see it!

Until next time…

Wish You Were Here!

As promised, I am back again!  I have a fun kit to show you today called Wish You Were Here from Snips and Snails Designs.

Here’s a 2-page spread I made for Erica’s album to remember all the fun stuff we did on our 10-day road trip to California and back.

You can find Stephanne’s designs exclusively at One Story Down.

Boy, It’s Been A While!

Do you ever wonder how it can be that nearly 3 weeks just slips by and you barely even notice?  I think it because I’ve been a scrappin’ fool…I completed 60 layouts during the month of March!

My goal for April is to clean up, finish up, and load up all the layouts I haven’t printed so that they are ready for printing sales in May!!!  I have about 170 layouts to print!

Anyway, I have a couple of kits I want to show you.  First up is Fresh Spring from Snips and Snails.

Aren’t the little chicks and eggs so cute!?!

Next I have a FREE kit to show you…Cherry Picking!  It is adorable and did I mention it is free?  This month, Stephanne is the featured designer in My Scrapbook Art’s magazine.  You can find the article and kit here.

And finally I have an absolutely gorgeous kit from Memory Clips by Ramona called Remembering.

Ramona has a fabulous project going on over on her blog called Scrap Your Story and its all about going back and scrapping some of the things that have influenced your life.   I created this “Scrap Your Story” layout about an event that happened to my family when I was just a baby, I of course don’t remember the event, but its a story that I remember since I played such a crucial role, lol!

I’ll try not to stay away for so long next time!  Hehe, I’ll be back tomorrow or Saturday to show you another new release from Snips and Snails!

Until next time…

Friday already!

I’m not sure where this week flew off to!  Seems that it wasn’t but a day or two ago I was writing my last blog post :)

Well, I have two new releases from this week to show you.

First up is Spring Fling from Snips and Snails Designs.  It’s such a soft, springy kit.

You can find it at theStudio along with more pieces in a similar color palette, and also at Divine Digital.

Next is a Birthday kit from Memory Clips by Ramona called Time For Cake which you can find at ScrapMatters!

I did a two-pager of my birthday trip to Mexico last fall.

Well that’s it for today, I’m off to the Women’s Retreat this morning so I need to finish packing!

Until next time…

Happy Friday!

I have two new kits to show off today.  The first is from Snips and Snails Designs called Lucky Me.  It is full of the most wonderful greens I’ve seen.

I did a two page spread of Erica’s field trip to 4-Mile Park back in 4th grade.  Of course, I used a template from Memory Clips by Ramona :)

You can find it at theStudio or Divine Digital.  And if you run over to Stephanne’s blog you will find the cutest coordinating cluster frame to download!

Next up is an adorable baby kit from Memory Clips by Ramona.

It is FULL of cute stuff for scrapping baby layouts, but it is also perfect for lots of everyday stuff…I should know, I used it to scrap a page about Erica’s first pair of glasses…when she was 8!

I used a template from Leandi at ScrapMatters on this layout.  You can find the kit at ScrapMatters.

I also forgot to tell everyone that I have another set of templates for sale over at Berry Sweet Scraps.

And of course I have a freebie to give you!

You can download it here.

Hope you have a super scrappy weekend!  Until next time…

Behind Once Again

Yep, I’ve gotten a lot of layouts done and posted about none of them here on my blog!  I entered the ScrapMatters Queen of Scrap contest…I’m not dillusional enough to think I’ll win, but there are some fun prizes to be won even if you’re not the winner!

Plus, you can sign up any time before the end of the month…so what are you waiting for…jump in!

Here are two new layouts with new products from Brownie Scraps:

This one is from a kit called Sunshine from Scraps By Mara.  I did this as part of a scraplift challenge at ScrapMatters.

I just adore the colors in this one called Puddle Jumping from Flutterbye Faery Designs.  The kit has the cutest little ducky and a rain coat and boots.  But of course I don’t have any pictures of the kids playing in the rain.  I used a template from Ramona’s Year In Review Cluster pack.

Next up are two new releases from Memory Clips by Ramona

This was made with pieces from the March Mix-a-Kit. I just love the blues and orange.

This one I made with Simply Spring.  And there will be a freebie on Ramona’s blog tomorrow that will look a lot like that border cluster…only springier! You can find it here.

As a part of Queen of Scrap, we had a challenge to create a LO with a photo turned sketch.  I love how easy it was to take the photo of Aaron and turn it into a sketch in Photoshop.  Here’s the tutorial.

Finally I have to show off this cute kit I bought that I can see me using for MANY of Aaron’s layouts.  I love all the clusters and of course the LEGOs.

The kit is called Imagination Creation and it’s from Stolen Moments Designs and Flergs.

Well, that’s all I’ll share with you today.  I’ll be back at the end of the week for sure with some more!

Until next time….
