Another New Release

in Brownie Scraps, Memory Clips by Ramona
It’s Tuesday so that means new releases at Brownie Scraps. I used a new kit from Flutterbye Faery Designs called Everyday Bliss. I love the brown and red with a dash of yellow!
I scrapped a layout of Erica and my sister playing Master Mind this past Thanksgiving.
I used two templates from Memory Clips by Ramona, the page stacker and the photo cluster. They are both free on the Memory Clips blog.
This is another layout I did using a template from Memory Clips by Ramona. This template was free in Ramona’s weekly newsletter. If you aren’t signed up to get her newsletter, head over to the blog to get signed up! She gives away a little something every week!!!
I used a great boyish kit called L8er Sk8er from digilicious designs. I loved the little bits of metal and all the grungy papers.
This layout could be yours! When you buy $10 worth of products at the Brownie Scraps store, the February Mega Collab – Tranquil Moments is yours free. In the kit you get a full size kit, some styles, a hybrid printable and 4 Quick Pages…this is one of them. You just lay your photo in the opening and you have a page all ready to print!
Finally I have to show off this layout that I did of Aaron’s Pre-K graduation. I love the tabs on this layout! I’d been wanting to do a tabbed paper stack for a while and I finally got around to it! This kit is Goodbye Summer and the Add-on.
I’m a bit behind…

in Brownie Scraps, Memory Clips by Ramona, Snips and Snails
I’ve gotten lots of layouts done recently that I never blogged about. I guess part of the reason is that I was accepted onto a new blog team for Memory Clips by Ramona. So I’ve been busy getting acquainted with that whole system. It’s been fun, in fact if you want to read my first post about setting up an indoor photo studio you can find it here.
So on to the layouts. I did a couple layouts with one of the kits Stephanne retired at Divine Digitals. It had a drum set in it which, of course, is perfect for my little drummer girl.
Then I am excited to show off a new kit that Stephanne released this week, called The Simple Things:

I made a set of thank you cards. I may still make a layout, just because it’s so pretty.
I used a set of cluster templates from Memory Clips by Ramona which made the cards come together so quickly.
I also have a new kit that was released at Brownie Scraps this week from Flutterbye Faery Designs called Sew Fun. I actually enjoy sewing and looked to see if I had any pictures of sewing projects I could scrap about, but I didn’t. So I went the other way and did a page where there was “no sewing required”!
I do have a few more layouts to tell you about, but they will have to wait until another day. I have to put on my “taxi driver” hat and go get kids from school. Normally I then put on the “chef” hat, but it’s Friday, so I may or may not, lol!
Until next time…

I’ve got lots to tell you about today! First I have to show you a new kit from Snips and Snails Designs. It’s called “I {heart} You” and it is full of soft love colors!
Of course there are some accessories! You can get the cardstocks and stacked papers or all of it in a bundle! This beautiful kit is available at Divine Digitals and theStudio.
Here is a two page spread I did of my lovely Erica as she is turning 13!
Next up I have my latest template pack – 3s A Crowd- for sale at Berry Sweet Scraps. It will be on sale this weekend – 30% off! You can find it here.
Don’t you just love those crowded photos! All of the templates come with custom shadow layers on the papers and photos! Of course if you have your own shadowing style you can just delete the shadow layer, but I’m telling you, you’ll love the look of the papers with just a bit of a curl on a corner, or the photo that casts just a slight shadow where it’s popping up off the paper. These are wonderful realistic shadow, perfect for online galleries as well as printing!
As usual I have a sample of my 3s A Crowd templates for you to try!
Click on the image or HERE to download this freebie!
That’s it for today! So until next time…

Some great new kits!!
28 Jan 2012 1 Comment
I have two new kits from Snips and Snails Designs to show you today! The first one is a collab with 4 other designers at theStudio. It’s called “It’s My Birthday”. This kit is fabulous because it has all the usual birthday stuff, candles, cakes, and banners, but it also has some bling for scrapping lots of different celebrations.
I made a page of Erica’s last birthday…
And I made a couple of birthday cards…although we’ll not be placing bets on whether or not I actually send birthday cards this year, lol! I am horrible about sending cards, I have all the greatest intentions and then it just never gets done. I’m hoping that by having a few cards on hand it will happen this year!!!
You can find this collab exclusively at theStudio.
Also releasing this week is Snow Kissed, another collab – this time with Aimee Harrison Design Studio and Digilicious Designs. Isn’t it great?

There are lots of coordinating pieces, too…glitters, clusters, an alpha, quick pages, stacked papers and cardstocks.
This kit is quite versatile, I made a gorgeous page of Erica on a cold snowy day when she was about 6 .
But I also used it to make this fun page of Aaron and Erica’s story they are writing together.
Isn’t it great, two very different looks, one FABULOUS kit!
You can find this kit and the bundle at theStudio as well. And of course if you head over to Stephanne’s blog you might find a few freebies.
Until next time…
New pages
20 Jan 2012 Leave a Comment
I’ve got a few new pages to show off today. The first one is from a new kit out this week from Scraps By Mara. It’s called Frolic in the Sun and I have to say that I am so ready for spring and frolicking in the sun that I just had to use it to scrap a page!
I also did a sunny-looking birthday-party page for the second week of the Supreme Challenge where our challenge was to scrap about a party.
Finally I have the week three challenge page. Our challenge was to scrap about something we love, but it had to be an inanimate object. I loved the idea of using the kit Fruit Cocktail from B2N2 Scraps to do a “Fruit of the Spirit” page highlighting my favorite Bible. If you look closely at the bottom left you’ll see Galatians 5:22-23…the fruit of the Spirit passage!
That’s it for today, but I’ve got more in the works for next week, so until next time…
A neutral kit…
13 Jan 2012 Leave a Comment
Snips and Snails Designs has just released this very cool new kit called Neutral LO Essentials. It is FULL of all the stuff that you always want in a kit, only sometimes it’s not included in the kit you are using.
Look at all the stuff in the basic kit. Lots of papers in white, black, gray and tan…there’s even a newsprint. Then there are all the elements, flowers, mats, journal spots, string, frames, staples, stitching, tags, leaves, brackets… it’s all in there! And check out the bundle…worn papers and 2 alphas.
This kit could easily be used on its own to create a beautiful, neutral layout (in fact I have an idea for one…if I could just fit it into my schedule
). But it was designed to add on to whatever kit you are using.
I made a layout of the kids’ first day(s) of school this year. I don’t really have a great back-to-school kit in my stash anymore and I love Orchard Days from Snips and Snails, but it’s a little to “young” for my growing-up kids’ first day photos. Sooooo, I combined them to make this fabulous layout that is pretty neutral, with just little hints of color and apples to remind them it’s back-to-school time!
You can find Neutral LO Essentials Bundle at Divine Digital and theStudio and Orchard Days at Divine Digital or theStudio.
Until next time…
Another New Release Tuesday
10 Jan 2012 Leave a Comment
It’s New Release day at Brownie Scraps and I have a fun layout using one of the Fresh Baked Brownies. It’s called All Boy from Scraps By Mara
When I saw the cute little dinosaur in there, I knew this was the kit to scrap our last trip to Dinosaur Park.
For years we went to Dinosaur Park every time we visited grandma and grandpa. But the kids are finally getting too old for it. But this summer we were there with the little cousins so we joined them and really had a good time climbing the dinosaurs.
I also have a layout I did for the first challenge in the Brownie Supreme Challenge. I hesitate to post about it here, because there is a chance that I won’t make it through and retain my spot as a Brownie Supreme. But I’ll remain optimistic and share with you Aaron’s story…
I used the Spring Fever Baker’s Dozen Mega Collab for this layout.
And last but not least I used another Baker’s Dozen Collab -Smiles All Around to make this layout of the cousins.
This was for the Semi-homemade challenge at Brownie Scraps.
Don’t forget, with the new points system, you can earn $$ to spend on products in the store.
Until next time…
