You’ll want to get in on this…

I don’t have a new release this week, but I am starting pre-sales of my March workshop…A Peek At Our Week.  This is Project Life or P365 condensed into just 7 days!!!

SCC_PeekWorkshop_Preview

You’d be amazed at how much of your life you can capture by taking a peek at just one week of your family’s life.  Because I really do believe even the littlest memories are worth keeping.

When you purchase the workshop you will receive*:

  • 4 planning worksheets.  These worksheets will help you organize your thoughts and plans for your week of picture taking as well as the album design.
  • two sets of 6 templates – yes, 12 templates in total- 6 square templates and 6 rectangle templates.
  • 3 webinars (technology cooperation required 🙂 ) where we’ll discuss the worksheets and how to plan out your week, another to discuss the picture-taking aspect of the project and a final webinar to wrap it up and to figure out the printing and binding of the project.
  • A special section in the Brownie Scraps forum just for us to share ideas, encouragement and our final projects.
  • Contests and prizes-there will be several fun contests where workshop participants will get to vote in a variety of categories.

I also have several add-on packs that will help make the album go together in a snap!  Here’s a peek at just a few of the packs that will be available.

Loving Inspiration Blog Hop

Brownie Scraps is kicking off our Customer Appreciation Days with a Loving Inspiration Blog Hop. It’s so exciting because the designers get to love on their teams and the Brownie Supremes as we share some of our favorite products. But before I jump in to my spotlight, let me tell you about the other great fun we’re having this weekend!

The Scavenger Hunt is going to be so much fun. You’ll get a list of things to look for on layouts in the gallery and when you find them you leave some love!  3 lucky players will win an amazing GC.

We are also having a sale!!!  The more you buy the more you save! If you buy 3 template packs you’ll get them for just $1 each! And that includes one of my favorite releases-the Spin Card.

It’s honestly so easy to make! And you could make so many different themes with it.

My CT and the Supremes loved it too.  Here’s are two cute Happy New Years cards from Martina and Helen.

Christina made this sunshiney, happy day card that I think is just so adorable!

And she also make this too cute Valentine’s Day card!

And here’s a closer look of the card I made as a thank you card.

We’ve had so much fun with it and I think you will too!  Again, you can pick it up for just $1 when you buy at least three templates in the store.

As always, I love to see your creations with my products. Upload a picture of your project to my gallery at Brownie Scraps for your chance at a RAK!

I hope you’ve enjoyed your hop through our loving inspiration! Here’s the complete list in case you missed one of our great designers at Brownie Scraps.

Birthday Bash!

I love this time of year because it’s birthday season here at the Nickels’ household. Aaron is getting too old for the cutesy themed party supplies at the party store, he wants his party to reflect his style. Ah, yes…scrapbook stash to the rescue! Here’s the invitation and thank you note set I’ll be using this year.

Invite and Thank You

Here’s the invitation I made for Aaron’s party. I loved the way his face lit up when he saw it, he thought it was just perfect!

Now I have to admit, I’m running a bit behind…I’ve made the banner, but I haven’t printed it out yet. You’ll have to just picture the banner, the preview below gives you a glimpse.
Banner v1

Banner v2

I have however, printed out the cupcake wraps…do you see where my priorities are, lol!!!!
Cupcake Wrapper

In case you’re wondering, I used two coordinating kits for his party supplies, Dude from Litabelle Designs and Boyz Only from LDrag Designs.

The great thing about templates is that I can use them for my birthday party supplies, but you can use them for whatever you need them for!  Bonnie from my CT used the banner templates to make a fun little Valentine’s Day banner to decorate for her kids’ party.

And she made some cute little cupcake wrappers, too!

I also used a new kit from Snips and Snails Designs and Digilicious Designs called Warm Hearts to make some Valentine’s Day cupcake wrappers for my kids and DH, just to let them know I love them!

So whether it’s a birthday, a holiday or just because these birthday bash products are great for letting those around you know how special you think they are!

Do you want the whole set? I’ve got it bundled for a great price!

Next week I have a very fun announcement, make sure you look for your chance to get in on it! A little hint you ask…okay, okay, let’s just say that I can’t stick with Project Life, but I can capture a little peek at my life!

And don’t forget that I am conducting a CT Call!  I’m looking to add a couple more people to my team. I have pretty easy requirements and you typically get a hold of the products 2 weeks before they are released! I can’t wait to hear from you!!

Valentine’s Day ideas

Get ready for Valentine’s Day!

We’re just 2 weeks away from Valentine’s Day, are you getting ready? Last week I introduced the February Subway Art and a fun telescoping card to send to your sweetheart. This week I have a great little coupon book to give to someone special.

Coupon book

The download for the coupon book includes five different file types.  You’ll find .PSD, .TIF and .PNGs to use in your design programs to pretty up the card. Then you’ll find an SVG file so you can cut it out using your electronic cutting systems!  I also include an outline of each piece of the book in a .PDF so you could print them out onto a plain sheet of cardstock and add your own physical supplies to embellish the book.

Here’s a look at one of my coupon books.  I used the kit “PS I Love You” from Memory Clips by Ramona to make this one.
Feb 1st release

And here’s the freebie you’ll find on my Facebook page!

Feb 1st release

And here are a few more ideas that you could put together for someone special.

telescoping card

How about a spin card with a heart instead of the circle, with the sentiment… “You make my heart spin”.

The dispenser box would also be a fun way to give some Valentine’s Day coupons (or cash, everyone loves a little cash).

How about giving a little bag of candy with a fun Valentine’s Day topper on it!?!

Or fill up a treat box with candies or cookies…

Love is in the air…

I know it seems early to be thinking about Valentine’s Day, but really it’s just around the corner! So I have a couple new templates out this week to help you get started!

First is the February edition of my Subway Art printables.

Feb Subway Art

As always, the template is customizable. Maybe there’s a pet name you have for all your loved ones, add them in! Wouldn’t that be so fun with a picture of your family in the middle!  I just might have to make a second printable this month!!

Here’s another one that Brownie Supreme Christina did.  I just love the softer colors of this one!

Christina

The other new release I have for you this week is a fun interactive card to give to your sweetheart!
telescoping card

It’s a telescoping card, when you hold the bottom layer and pull the top layer it telescopes out to reveal the full card!  I just love this one by Brownie Supreme Crystal.

The download for the card includes five different file types.  You’ll find .PSD, .TIF and .PNGs to use in your design programs to pretty up the card. Then you’ll find an SVG file so you can cut it out using your electronic cutting systems!  I also include an outline of the pieces of the card  in a .PDF so you could print them out onto a plain sheet of cardstock and add your own physical supplies to embellish the box.

And now I’m going to do something I don’t often do…I’m giving you a sneak peek to a couple more Valentine’s Day projects that I will be releasing on the first of February. And don’t worry if you think you don’t have time to get them done in just two weeks…both projects come together so quickly with the templates!

I always love seeing your projects with my products. Upload them to my gallery at Brownie Scraps for your chance at a RAK!

And finally I need to tell you about my CT Call!  That’s right, I’m looking to add a couple more people to my team. I have pretty easy requirements and you typically get a hold of the products 2 weeks before they are released!

CT Call

I hope to hear from you!

The Envelope Please…

In the past couple of months I’ve created a couple of card templates and finally got the envelope template done to coordinate with them.

This envelope will hold cards up to 3.5 inches by 5.5 inches and works with several of my card templates including Gift Card vol. 1 and Spin Card.

I also wanted to show you the fun layouts I did this week.  First is an old picture of Aaron when he was 4, holy toledo, that was 7 years ago!!!  I used a template from Double It v1 and a new kit called PS I Love You both from Memory Clips by Ramona.

A-at-4

Next is another image for my screen saver set. This is a great quote that reminds me that the very act of working towards my goals is doing a lot for me, building character and developing self-discipline.  I used a template from keepscrappin’ designs and a new kit from Snips and Snails Designs called “Eclectic”.

acheive

And I captured Erica in her new muff hat on National Hat Day!  I used a “Love You” template from Memory Clips by Ramona and a bundled kit from Wendy Tunison Designs called “Just Us: January”.

hat-day

I hope you had a chance to get some scrapping and crafting done this week, too! Until next time…

I scrapped this week!

I set a goal of 80 layouts this year and I am 2 closer to that goal now!  Go, me!!  And just as a frame of reference, I scrapped over 300 pages last year. But this year I know I won’t have as much time to scrap since I’m having a blast creating my hybrid templates and projects to sell.

But, I still CT for some designers and therefore I will still be doing layouts, too!

This first one is a template from Bonnie Allen Designs and a kit from Jennifer Labre Designs.

mouse-trap

Next I used an older template from Memory Clips and a fabulous new kit called Every Day Romance.

20-years

And I also wanted to show you my Subway Art project for January using Winter Frost from Snips and Snails Designs.
